I’ve been using the Realme Narzo 80 Lite 4G for a while, and it’s way better than I expected for the price. The 6,300 mAh battery easily lasts two days, and the 90 Hz display feels smooth for scrolling and watching videos. I love the stylish Pulse Light on the back, and the phone feels sturdy thanks to its military-grade build and IP54 rating. Perfect for daily use, calls, social media, and light gaming. At this price, it’s a steal!

When opened the box and tried to start the phone it was not working. Also tried to charge it but it was not charging as well. Seems they’ve sold faulty phone.

I am feeling frustrated. It’s a very disappointing experience to open a new gadget only to find it’s a “dud.” Here’s a breakdown of what might be happening with the faulty phone:
    Immediate Symptoms:

No Power: The phone shows no signs of life. The screen remains black, and there’s no vibration or sound.

Charging Failure: When plugged in, the phone doesn’t display a charging icon, an LED light, or any other indication that it’s receiving power.

Unresponsive: The phone doesn’t react to any button presses, like the power button or volume controls.

    Possible Causes of the Fault:

Dead Battery: The most common and benign cause. The battery may have been completely drained during shipping and storage. While most phones come with a partial charge, a very long time in a warehouse or a defective battery could lead to a “deep discharge” from which it’s difficult to recover.

Faulty Charging Port: The physical port on the phone where the cable plugs in might be damaged or improperly soldered. This prevents the phone from receiving any power, even if the battery is fine.

Defective Battery Itself: The battery could be faulty from the factory. It might not be able to hold a charge or accept one at all.

Motherboard or Internal Component Failure: This is a more serious issue. A critical component on the phone’s main circuit board (motherboard) could have failed. This could be due to a manufacturing defect, a bad chip, or damage during assembly or shipping. This would render the entire device inoperable.

Software/Firmware Issue: While less likely to cause a complete power failure, a corrupted operating system or firmware could prevent the phone from booting up correctly. In a new device, this points to a quality control failure at the factory.
Shipping Damage: The phone might have suffered an impact during shipping. Even if there are no visible external dents, an internal component could have been dislodged or damaged.
